You gotta love the world when an octogenarian couple drives by at the speed Car Wash in a Trabbi, complete with fluffy pink handcuffs dangling from the rearveiw mirror.

In other news, today I went to the bank by myself. (this is not the news. this is the news:) The cashier like, totally understood. me! Yay! /incoherency. I was worried that since I speak German like a retarded toddler who's just taken a few hits (on the head, of course) she wouldn't understand me. And also because I have a thinck American accent, I'm sure. And also because I tend to put verbs where-ever I feel like putting them.

In the subject of German verbs. Why. I mean, they go in the second slot unless there's two of them, in which case one of them is arbitrarily selected to be second and the other gets tacked on the end, unless there's more than two in which case you're fucked 'cos a roulette randomly selects the second place verb and the rest line up in an incomprehensible string at the end. Unless it's a question in which case all bets are off and the subject and the verb do a do-si-do-swing-your-partner-round-and-round. And reflexive verbs make me want to hit myself in the head. And seperable verbs! Why? I'd like all my verbs in the same place please! And don't even get me started on complex clauses, where if you connect two clauses with 'weil' or 'dass' or 'wenn' then BOTH verbs goes at the end but if you use 'und' or 'aber' it DOESN'T. And the whole verb at the end thing- leaves a tantalizing opportunity for abusing my imagination, because we get sentences like 'Sam couldn't Dean---' and my mind leaps ahead and fills in innappropriate the inevitably incorrect verb.

Yes. So that was my mini-rant on why I put verbs where-ever I feel like putting them. BUT the world is still okay. Rly.
