Sunday morning we went to a parade of European marching bands. The Slovakian band really impressed me, particularly their drum major-- she was twirling around this baton as big as she was. The girls looked hot in their high boots and white uniform (I would say the men looked hot as well, but their uniform included lederhosen).
The British band was a farce though- this fat guy's beer belly was hanging out the bottom of his shirt -_-°°° And they weren't in lines or marching in time! How is that possible?!??

Later in the day we went for a 30km bike ride along a cliff in the woods (it followed the path of a pretty river). But I'm too dreamy for successful bike-riding--I was looking around so much I nearly fell off (the cliff.)
Seriously, Earth has always been my least favorite element, but these amazing rock formations (and doesn't that sound stupid?) were awe-inspiring and may end up changing my mind. Then again, aren't cliffs part Air?)

Try to picture the scene. (If I were a writer...)
You're on a path in the thick woods. Anyone in MI can picture that. However, on your left is a steep drop leading to a wide river valley, so steep that you would be able to see the horizon at eyelevel far off, if the horizon didn't loom over you (a veritable wall of trees--and seemingly so close you could touch it. I've never had the horizon line above my head before. Incredibly disconcerting.) On your right is small river, then a steep incline: sometimes a vertical cliff face, others a slow waterfall down to the valley below. I ♥ cliffs in the woods.

Then there was a Langese stand. Americans would know the brand name as Good Humor, I believe. That's ice cream, delicious ice cream. Also at the end of the bike ride was this ancient park with those rusty animal-seats-on-spring things. It was a scene right out of Japan; I've only ever seen them there, well, and now here.

In other news, this Monday morning I lurked at the fick door longer than was probably smart hoping for a third sighting of Draco Malfoy. (No show. *pouts*)

I need to figure out a camera, and quickly.

No deadline on the challenge, but I would like to know who's working on it. So far, Korin, Anya, and....???
