Rotary speech tonight. *nervous*

So another word that should describe Deutschland is 'damp'. The state of things here seems to be a perpetual drizzle, with occasional sunshine but more often heavy rain. But then I've only been here four days.

The rain has a dampening effect on time, I think. That's why it feels so old here. Time moves more slowly because of the rain.
It certainly explains why it feels so wet.
