So another word that should describe Deutschland is 'damp'. The state of things here seems to be a perpetual drizzle, with occasional sunshine but more often heavy rain. But then I've only been here four days.

The rain has a dampening effect on time, I think. That's why it feels so old here. Time moves more slowly because of the rain.
It certainly explains why it feels so wet.

I found out why the cute fuzzy wabbits aren't named.

They're Christmas dinner.

I don't know whether to be horrified, amused...or hopeful I'm here for Christmas. Mmmm, wabbit.

Yes, my first reaction was to laugh to cover up my horror. I'd just gotten back from feeding the cute fuzzies...but it was horror in an abstracted way, not 'OMG eat rabbits?!' but more 'I'm not in Kansas anymore, IMHO.'
