Dude, I could have sworn I replied to this yesterday!

Anyway. Actually, no, because I used to watch X-Men as a cartoon with my dad, and therefore it has always been strongly associated with heterosexuality with me (particularly of the manly man/buxom redheads - My dad's big on the redheads).

Interestingly, the first time I saw Prof. X, I thought of Patrick Stewart, cos we also used to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation around the same time. And the first time I saw Magneto I laughed at his helmet.

But later on I realized how intriguing their relationship is, moreso than another other X-Men characters, including Nightcrawler + Mystique (and that's only so high cos I <3 Nightcrawler sooo bad). But I always did think their interaction had a special....something...[insert significant pause here]...
